Rowland Foundation Work
Rowland Foundation Work
The Rowland Foundation is an organization whose mission is to invest in Vermont teachers so that they can work on projects that will positively impact the culture and climate in their schools. The Hartford School District is fortunate to have not one, but two Rowland Fellows! Melissa Wyman, a 2024 Rowland Fellow, is working on expanding place-based education across all academic disciplines at the High School. You can learn more about this work below. Rebecca Osborne, a 2025 Rowland Fellow, will be working on a project about how increasing opportunities for hands-on and skill-based learning at the middle school impacts student engagement and sense of belonging.
